Please don't stop posting here just because one person in the whole
thread said something so inane. From what it looks like Stop It was
actually claiming that most of the posts here were made by you
(meaning most of those posts that say "guest" at the front, not
just the ones labeled CAS), which does not leave me feeling that
Stop It is someone who should even be acknowledged.
In any case, Stop It has no right to tell you to stop posting here
simply because he/she did not like your book. That is childish
behavior on Stop It's part and I would hate for you to stop posting
here just because of something like that.

If we don't get a sequel or spinoff is there a possibility for an
audiobook? That would be awesome.

Has anyone found any other books by this author?

From: guest (jestem)

Does anyone know if the author still sends the free bits? Because I
emailed him and still hasn't got any reply...

In reply to jestem's question:
yes, I am still sending out a free sample of A WOMAN'S PASSION so
you can try-before-you-buy. Jestem has gotten his.
I am traveling a lot for business this year, so I may not respond
immediately ... but usually within 10 days.
Again, just write and ask for the WOMAN'S PASSION sample to
alanbarrie@yahoo.com.
You'll get back an MSWord version of the first 75%+ of the book.
The MSWord version is a little harder to read than the ebook
edition (from Amazon or BN.com) or the pdf edition (from
Booklocker.com) or, of course, the trade paperback (from all three
of these sources and many bookstores), but it is certainly easy
enough to read to get a taste of the book.

This is true. Last week, I wrote to him and the author sent me a
version in Microsoft Word the next day. It seems to be a pretty big
chunk.

Finally got around to reading this sample sent by the author. Loved
it. Ordered the book to read how it ends.

The sample he sent me stops just before "the good part" which
pissed me off. So I didn't order his book.

Still waiting for the audio book. It'd be a fun gimmick to start
with a man reading and then change to a woman.

Still waiting for this overhyped story to finally die off

Way to contribute to its death by bumping it up the message board.

From: guest (batt)

Mike, that's the whole point of a sample. Why would he send you the
"good part" for free?
|
From: guest (thenonsaint)
, 149 months, post #74 |
I should have been paid to buy the book, not pay for it as I did.
|
From: guest (The searcher)

then sell it used at amazon and be done with it.

Author did send me sample the next day after asking. (Haven't read
it yet.)

Not really a novel. It's just a collection of a guy in a girl's
body doing this girly-thing, then that girly-thing, then that
girly-thing, ad infinitum. After it gets to the ultimate
girly-thing to do, it runs out of steam.

You don't have to pay for this book. You can get a pdf on
books.4free.

Tried this books.4free and got a virus (that luckily my Norton
caught).
