It started on the 17th. Toward the end of the show, Jamal wanted his fighting female friends Alison and Livvie to stop slinging paint at each other in a chick fight. He wished they could "spend some time in each other's shoes" so they could settle some of their problems with each other.

Then he left (without realizing he made a wish come true, he has a magical ring), and the scene cuts to the girls. Their shoes are now on the other's feet.

- Really, the shoes truly were on the other's feet, and they continue to fight for a few seconds, but now it seems they have adopted the personality of the other. Livvie is now the sweet victim fighting in response while Alison is now the namecalling shrew instigating the fight.

They stare oddly at each other and separate.

Then they are shown individually meeting up with their male boyfriends, and Livvie begs her vampire boyfriend to spare another vampire he was about to kill, while Allison appears willing to forget her troubles with her fiance and comes on to him in Livvie's aggressive style. (Livvie was married to him for a few months a while back.)
They do not actually state they are bodyswapped, but they are each decidedly different in their personalities after magically beginning their walk in each other's shoes.
Perhaps they are forced to act as each other by the spell? The next week or more should tell the story.

"The Gift" is not a title of episode. It's unofficial title of the last season of the show.

The name of the episode is called Paint Wars. Just search for it on Youtube, the entire final season was put up by someone. It's nothing special.
