The new Wes Craven werewolf film reteaming him with Scream writer Kevin Williamson and Rick Baker. Here's an early review and description.

What promises to be a fast paced, high octaine thriller (via the many choppy trailers) dilivers a rather bland rehash on the whole Nineties horror genre. Cursed gives us some nice transformation shots, a stale and lacking script filled with cookie cutter characters, and a huge inferiority complex compared to previous Wes Craven creations. The movie starts out weak, and pretty much continues on in that same sense. Despite several 'cameos' by classic horror creatures, several refferences to the original Wolfman movie (including the were wolf design which remarkably resembles what the wolfman was suppose to look like)AND Reechi, the film just doesnt succede under any level. The only good thing I can really pull from this film, other then the seamless transformation sequence, is the fact that we get to see Christini Reechi play suck finger with one of her co-stars. Though, this film is definately worthy of a look, to see the transformations. Though saddly done in CGI, a good deal of the scenes look remarkably real, while others look rather sheepish(high action scenes, such as car hopping, running, that sort of thing). Though it drags on and is just as painful as every one of the Scream films, it somehow fails, as far as a horror film goes, to match the level of 'pizzaz' that those goofy movies some how established. It really makes one wonder, how could someone with so much tallent (Craven) loose it all so quickly...
