If you could body swap 1 time. With a normal person about this you same station in life but the opposite sex how long would you swap with them knowing it is a one time thing.

I think I would go a month as I thin you get a good feel for the opposite sex that way. What about all of you

It depends, if it's with a family member max a day, if it's a friend maybe a day, week max, if it is with my partner a week also but i wouldn't mind swapping back and forth

This sounds very much like a little game I like to play: I think of someone and then decide how long I would stay looking like that person, if given the opportunity. I think the range still goes from "uh, no thanks" in very extreme cases to "a weekend" and then "a couple of weeks to a month" to "maybe a year or even longer" to "forever". But I do find that I'm surprisingly picky about "forever" and a big reason is that even for my age, I'm actually quite fit and healthy right now and wouldn't want to trade down.

I tend not to think about these transformations as swaps (especially not life swaps). I guess mostly because I wouldn't want a stranger to take my place and trust them to be well behaved.

Especially lately, I have started to think that I might live long enough to see a time when physical appearance can be altered in rather significant ways without too many downsides. So the whole fantasy question of "what would you become" isn't quite as much fantasy as it used to be.

very interesting question that made me think for a bit. my fantasies are so focused on the idea of a temporary swap where you're thrusted into the situation of having to pretend to be someone else and the awkward moments that ensue from that, but if i knew swapping was real and i could only swap once i'd find it really hard to turn down staying swapped forever. (as long as i choose who i swap with to some extent)

Technically, if you only swap "1 time," then it's forever by definition. :)

To swap back, you'd need to be able to swap at least 2 times.

If it were one time, probably for 1 or 2 years... I could look back on it as "the one/two years of my life I was a woman"
