fours

A made-for-tv Pinocchio movie from 1976 done in the style of a
stage play, starring the gorgeous Sandy Duncan in the title role:

One of the lesser-known adaptations of the story, and possibly the
only version in which Pinocchio's donkey transformation involves
growing JUST a tail and nothing else. (scene starts at 56:47)

Brand new series you can find on Netflix (depending on your region
of course).
"Sweet Tooth", concerning a virus infecting newborns turning them
into human-animal hybrids. The main character looks to be a
half-deer boy.
I know next to nothing else about the show but I've added it to my
list of series to watch when I get round to it, The preview trailer
shows a baby with some kind of tail or other, so I expect we will
be seeing some tails here and there throughout the show.

I watched all of season 1 and there's barely any tail content. Most
of the hybrids were just background characters in season 1, and the
ones that are main characters don't appear to have tails.

The only tails in the show are in the beginning of the first
episode and around 15.20 in ep. 5. Although it seems like season 2
might not be a letdown since it looks like most of the hybrids will
be introduced directly.
In the meantime, I would personally suggest watching the show. It's
quite enjoyable even if you don't count the humanoid stuff.

Yeah, it was still a good show and there will be more hybrids in
season 2. It's a shame we didn't get to see more of the background
characters shown in some shots in season 1, the practical effects
looked good.

There’s also a tail shot barely visible at the end of the final
episode, you can see a fox tail swishing behind someone.
