I had no idea they made a movie of my life until I walked into a
video rental store and saw it on the rack.
What a wonderful film! They got almost everything right, except for
the blackmail and the ending. I knew enough about women that after
becoming one, I did indeed become aware to the financial rewards
that came with it! But why blackmail women when men were willing to
give me anything I wanted. And I sure didn't die in the end.
I finally got George to think of me as a woman and we got married.
I now have two children and they have given me three grandchildren,
and George and I have retired to Miami Beach.
Being reincarnated as a woman was the best thing that ever happened
to me!
Just thought you folks would like to know!

(spoiler} That couldn't really be from Charlie. Charlene dies at
the end and is reincarnated as a dog. This was a really great film,
btw.

Actually Jaygee, the play which the movie was based upon has a
different ending than the movie so maybe the movie ending was wrong
after all!
Besides, the movie ending could be read that the male part of
Charlie was banished to the dog but the feminine half, Charlene was
give a (third?) chance to make a better life by giving her a new
identity as a neighbor.

And what about the susan sommers version? do you have images?

I actually remember seeing the Susan Sommers version. I hope it
isn't offensive to any 3's compmay fans, but she isn't exactly the
actress Debby Rennolds is. It would still have made an interesting
series, but I can't say I'm too suprized it didn't make it past the
pilot.

Does she ever talk in Charlie's male voice? I always think that's
sexy when a cute girl is shown with a man's voice (the deeper the
better).
Anyone have any film/tv recommendations for me?
