Thanks Andrew, for both the images and the translation. It's a shame that the Doraemon series is so well known in Asia yet virtually unheard of in the English speaking World. Your contribution is very much appreciated.

I only know of one site that has posted a few Doraemon transformation pics and that's Farhads. Farhad asked for people to translate stuff for him and even said those who do can get anything he has for free. Paul's got a link to his site here on metamorphose.org but I'll repeat Farhad's address anyway:

One thing I don't understand about Doraemon is if he is that popular in Asia, then the libraries in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and elsewhere should have plenty of copies for people to look up, scan and post on the net, yet there is very little available despite the over 40 volumes of work that's come out in the last thirty years. Strange.

I forgot to tell you,Justin.I have a pen-pal from Malaysia and he says the Doraemon comic recahs until Vol.45(which we know that's the last volume).That's how I got this info when I went to Malaysia during holidays last winter.

By the way,can you sent the info of vol.40 to Farhads.
If he want us to translate,he should done like this site, so other people can translate for him.(Note:I use a scanner and Photo editor on this.So it a coincedence that it's there).Please send me more details and pic from vol.40.Ya~Ha~!
