Hi all -
Have seen clips of this elsewhere. Clearly gender change & new.
Possibly russian - but maybe Ukraine. Looks like a full film - very
hard to tell . Anyone have any clues?

But when was it made? Do you know anything else about it? Eg - It's

The main webpage has a really long synopsis of the movie. I did my
best to traslate it with a couple of different online translators.
This is what I could gather . . .
"Shneka" is the protagonist of the movie. He hangs out with his
three best friends. While they are confident and like fashionable
clubs, contnuous parties, and beautiful women, Shneka is a shy
dreamer. Girls easily associate with Shneka's friends but pay him
no attention. Shneka actually starts to envy women. He thinks life
would be easier if all you needed to succeed were a pretty smile
and long legs.
One day Shneka's beautiful neighbor Angela asks him to watch her
apartment while she leaves for a business trip. She asks if he
could feed her cat and leaves him the keys to her apartment. One
evening, after Shenka leaves his friends at their usual hang-out,
drunk and depressed, he boards a bus home. On the bus he meets a
strange man who says that very soon one of his dreams will come
true. Shenka thinks the man is crazy and reacts with sarcasm. Once
he gets back to Angela's apartment he feeds her cat and then
drunkenly passes out. The next morning Shneka awakes to discover
his dream has come true. He is a beautiful woman. Angela returns to
discover Shneka. He convinces her of his situation and she agrees
to help him live out his dream. But for how long?

Just finished watching it. Wow. After being disappointed with
Zerophilia I can't believe I got to see a really good TG movie.
What was really refreshing about this movie is that the main
character wants to be a girl ! And the casting was wonderful. Like
Zerophilia, the girl is suppose (From what I can tell) to be his
female equivelent and the two actors really look alike. The story
almost seems like a Cinderella story. Shnek gets to spend 1 day as
a girl before the magic is broken. He gets to go shopping, get his
hair done, go clubbing, and all the while being showered with
attention by male suitors. There is a subplot that involves a
womanizer who eventually catches up with Shnek and is about to make
her his latest conquest, but some gangster-like thugs almost kill
him, and Shnek saves him at the last minute. They proceed to
celebrate by having a party with some guys at a hotel room. I was
really hoping for a kiss scene but all the romance is allude to the
following morning . . . after Shnek changes back. I really wish
this movie had a Cleo/Leo type ending with Shnek chooses to stay
female, but no such luck. In the end, it was refreshing to see a TG
movie where the protagonist can't stop smiling because he loves
what's become of him.
I so wish I could understand what they were saying : (

I know where you can buy it! Free shipping in the US. No subtitles
though, and you have to "hack it" to play on your computer or
Region 1 DVD player. It's only 19.99 Good price for such a
wonderful movie.
Hey Tinkerman,
You could please tell me what is being said when Angela discovers
Shnek is now a girl? How does Shnek convince her that she's really
Shnek. There's that scene where Shnek is on her knees behind the
counter and Angela is in the kitchen. What are they talking about?
Shnek looks so cute.

Actually Alice (������ Shnek) didn't say that she is Shnek. She
told Angela that Shnek invited her home and tried to get off her
clothes. So she just threw him out and left in flat alone.
And Angela just needed a friend for an hour - to meet her second
rich boyfriend. And she invited Alice to come with her.
Nobody knows that Alice is actually Shnek. Except Sobol - next
morning :)
