This so-so horror flick revolves around a bioengineering team's attempts to create the "ultimate adaptable lifeform". The result is nicknamed "Charlie" - an immensely-large creature whose native form resembles a nightmarish cross between a shark and a giant squid. However, it evolves by "absorbing" ...more |

The scene with Rachel is pretty good actually! When she is laying
down unconscious the creature(in the current form of a liquid mucus
type thing) slides down her throat and takes over her body. As I
recall, Rachel was pretty hot. This isn't the best TG scene around,
but if you like this kind of stuff check it out!

I didn't like the transformation that much. It starts with promise:
the green goo slides down her throat and engulfs her, and she moans
in pain. But when they rush to her (she was on a sick bay stretcher
just behind a curtain), she acts as if everything is normal. Later,
she arises from the stretcher; another character, the drug addict,
says, "You shouldn't get up this soon after you were injured," and
she says, "I heal fast. Take a look." And she unbuttons her blouse
to show off her torso, wearing only a bra.
A few things ruin it. She comes on to the drug addict (hoping to
engulf him, too) but then in the middle of it her former
personality reasserts itself and she pushes him away, saying, No,
No! Now, why did the movie director have to do that? It's just
pointless. Also, the drug addict isn't that attracted to her,
mainly because he's kinda stoned at the time. So it doesn't work
for him and it doesn't work for us.
A few other trivial TG transformations in the movie, mainly the
monster taking the form of a middle-aged scientist woman and once
becoming ugly, another time becoming the male scientist. Lasts
about 0.5 seconds.
Not worthwhile. Sorry.
