Dr. Jekyll And Sister Hyde
Gender | |
The Dr's latest brew turns him into a woman with muder on her mind. Nicely done, with a plot that involves Jack the Ripper, Burke and Hare, and more.

The first and one of the best. Takes the female Hyde idea to the
best level I've scene. The initial tranformation scene is a credit
to both actors. One staring at the other changing through the
mirror. The female Hyde isn't inhbited about who should walk in.
Also noteworthy in that the second transformation is almost as good
as the the first.
All subsequent tranformations at least partially appear on screen.
Very little dialogue but the movie doesn't need it.
NOTE: The original Hammer movie had a great amount of nudity. Many
versions shown on Television have had these edited out.

Very sexy morph.Martine Beswick is a beautiful woman

Very interesting morph. When Dr. Jekyll hides his face, his face
transforms into that of a woman's. Then she looks at herself at the
mirror and finds she has more hair. Better when she has short hair.
Then she pleasures herself by feeling her breasts.

Watch it for laughs, if nothing else. I think it can stand alone
just in the comecial aspect.

this is a good movie, especially with the references to jack the
ripper and the body snatchers (although burke and hare werent
mobbed, but put on trial)transformations are good, and notice how
when sister hyde wears the curtain, it looks like a very modern
dress (she also wears alot of red). an ok movie

I've watched this movie ten times and I think it's great!!!!!! I
give this movie a 10/10. Should you read this review, you should
really spend some money and buy this for all its worth. I think
sister Hyde is very very beautiful. I fell in love with her the
moment I first saw the movie.

Not a complaint, but Timber, did you know that that sister hyde
clip doesn't seem to contain any TG or transformations?

Hey, I just said it was a clip, not necessarily a good one. =) It
was just there as part of my torrent. I'll have the full movie up
and linked on my site soon. Can't post that directly here of
course.

I think the main reason the transformation works so well is that
the actors Ralph Bates and Martine Beswick look quite similar. They
really could be brother and sister, so the transformation is
"relatively" minor.
In most films with a TG transformation the new woman or man often
bears no resemblance to the person they were before and its often
difficult to think of them as being that person originally.

I totally dig this movie's lavish style, its careful crafting, its
Victorian ambiance. It's art more than entertainment, perhaps, and
it won't appeal to everyone. I wouldn't want a collection to be all
movies like this one, but I also hold it as one of the best. I
bought it a long time ago, and come to think of it, I'm overdue to
watch it again.
And yes, the casting is remarkable.

The loss of strength of him turning into a woman winds up killing
him in the movie. I wonder if there are any other movies or
television shows where the loss of strength is shown by the
affected gender change?

The movie the Deathstalker is another example. A guard gets turned
into Barbi Benton and almost gets raped by the Deathstalker due to
his loss of strength from the gender transformation into a woman.
