Gender | |
A slacker teen is obsessed with two girls: his neighbor Jacqueline, and movie star Natalie Portman. Knowing he has no chance with the movie star, he tries to ask Jacqueline for a date, but ends up embarrassing himself. He prays to God and asks to be able to get close to one or the other. The movie can be found on DALnet's #fictionmania.

Well, the mentioned movie isn't the one reviewed. Part Two, "Drugs"
isn't released yet, and Jacqueline wasn't played by Shayna Lanzo in
the first film, the one described. I was part of the cast for
"Drugs", the film not yet released.
"Sex", the first in the three is the weekest link. Although it's a
really well done fan film, don't review it till you've seen all
three of them, they'll only get better.

Yes, this is only part one of a trilogy-in-progress. The director
is currently in the process of remaking "Sex" and hopefully he'll
keep the bodyswap in. It's actually pretty good. I'm adding a few
pics to this entry. Just wanted to clarify it is part ONE and not
part TWO.
In Peace,

Okay, Guest, I don't think you needed to bump so many threads on
this topic. One would have sufficed. Still, I'll tell you what I
know from what has been posted over the years at the director Chad Peter's forum
.
A full-length feature which was originally entitled "Sex, Drugs,
and Natalie Portman" has been made, although I do not think it was
ever going to be a remake of the short films. At the time he
started working on it, Chad Peter removed the original films from
the internet to avoid confusion. Therefore I think the one you
found on a file upload site by doing a Google search was put there
by someone else, so I won't link to it.
The director originally hoped to be able to get Ms. Portman to have
a cameo in the film through some indirect connection he had to her
representatives. Apparently she didn't feel comfortable appearing
in a flim with that name so no cameo and therefore he also ended up
changing the name. It is now called "Apocalypse, CA" and here is the trailer on YouTube
. The film is complete and seeking distribution. There will at
least be a screening in LA sometime in 2011.
As you can see from watching the trailer
, it is about a a group of friends in the days before Earth is
doomed to be destroyed by an asteroid. Now, there is clearly a size
change (giant woman attack!) but people on this site must be
wondering if there are any TG body swaps in the film. I haven't
seen it so I don't know of course, but could it be possible that
the "opportunity of a lifetime" being offered might have something
to do with the surprised woman looking down her shirt at around the
0:56 second mark? I'll let your imaginations run wild.

To throw more fuel on the fire, later in the trailer the same woman
is punching a guy in a living room. A longshot but the same thing
happened in SDNP.

It appears, based on the tags to the video, that there is a genie
that grants wishes in the movie and the year is 2012. I think it's
obvious that the blonde who at one point holds up three fingers is
the genie. Also, it does appear very possible that there is a
little bit of TG based on the unfeminine clothes the woman is
wearing and the lesbian kiss. But who knows? It seems like a
completely different movie and am wondering if calling it a
"remake" is going a bit too far. He may have decided to ditch the
TG in the original SDNP.

To be clear I said it was not
a remake.
