Gender | |
A guy accidentally gets the power to control other peoples actions. Somewhere in the movie according to the trailer that I have watched, he some how takes over his teachers body. There are more possessions of other people in the movie. I highly recomend it. Even though I have only watched the trail ...more |

"Pretty Cool is basically a homage to films like Weird Science and
Zapped!, wrapped up in a parody of early Tom Cruise films, like
Risky Business and Color of Money. It follows the adventures of a
lovable loser who meets the girl of his dreams and then discovers
he has to go to summer school and won't have time to try to get to
know her. Deciding to break into the school's computer to change
his grades (shades of WarGames there, another eighties classic), he
inadvertently receives a transmission from a secret lab in Europe,
giving him awesome mental powers.
Discovering he can read minds as well as control them, our hero has
some juvenile fun at first, giving us some nice T&A. But his
escapades threaten his relationship with his dream girl, and he's
determined to win her without using his powers on her. Then there's
the mysterious woman from the lab out to track down whoever has the
power, her thought transference necklace, and a host of other
complications. There's a lot going on in this movie, and while it
doesn't all make sense necessarily, the movie isn't meant to be
taken very seriously anyway.
Since the main character is basically a decent guy, most of the
film's mischief comes from his unscrupulous best friend, who
cackles maniacally at the prospect of all the fun to be had with
the powers. He ends up in over his head a lot of the time, but it
leads to some very funny situations. The film is basically a boy
meets girl affair with some nice T&A and a good deal of
slapstick humor. It's not the greatest story ever told by any
stretch, but it's definitely better than average for the straight
to video market. Worth a rental at the least."

Rather than reiterate TLove's review, I'll simply add my thoughts
on this movie.
A little too much gratuitous nudity for my taste.
Not really an adult film, but intended for mature audiences.
Some of the deleted/extended scenes should not have been cut/cut
short, as I found that they actually made the story
less confusing.
There was a selection to access some hidden content in the bonus
materials on the DVD.
The contrast between the soft and loud portions of the movie had me
constantly adjusting the volume and often rewinding to try to catch
what was being said (especially true of the bonus content).
I don't think I'd buy the copy I rented, but one worth renting for
the TF-type content.

ive actully seen parts of this "movie" and its actually from the
television series emmanuelle 2000 2-parter emmanuelle pie. this is
just a coppied version of that show turned into a different show
with some added features. aside from that though it is actully
rather good despite the parts nicked of the other show

my apologies to this as the show i saw did not make reference to

show emmanuelle 2000 which came out about a year before the film.
