Yeah, it has its moments, but not exactly one of my favorite movies. It's okay.

I agree...the afterlife waiting room was amusing, as was Beetlejuice, but it drug in some parts.

Yeah, Alex Baldwin and Geena Davis play the recently deceased couple who are forced to haunt their own home. They cannot leave their home, even when a new family buys the place. When the Deets family move in, their daughter Lydia can see the dead couple and befriends them. She is strange and unusual, so she can understand the Book the dead couple are given. (The manual for the recently deceased). Somehow, the dead couple draw a door to the afterlife waiting room and leave the book behind for Lydia to pick it up, and then her evil uncle gets a hold of it. He then requests the wedding clothes from the dead couple to summon them. The dead couple are then summoned and appear in their wedding clothes and then rapidly transform into their corpe-states. Lydia then is forced to summon Beetlejuice (saying his name 3 times will summon him and he will be able to help or play tricks, depending on his mood). He then wants to marry Lydia and then the dead couple save Lydia and send Beetlejuice to the waiting room. His head gets shrunk magically by a head shrinker when he switches his long number with a shorter one (the headshrinker). The dead football team is there too with Janus, the caseworker. She explains all about Beetlejuice, who is a free-lance Exorcist, specializing in scaring the living.

I liked it when they twisted their faces into wierd shapes.
