It was a torrent. Try searching the torrent sites for it using the
English, Westernized, or Original Kanji title. All are listed in
the entry's page here.

That question probably should be in its own thread - about how to
exclude certain results while searching. And is best asked on the
forum of the search site / engine you're using.
to exclude anime try -anime
to exclude hentai try -hentai
to exclude both, use both strings in your search.
I can't guarantee that this will work with every site, but there
should be similar command sets or operands to achieve the same
result. Good luck.

The thing I'm finding most fascinating by far is the profusion of
cigarettes and smoking. It's almost like a Marlboro advertisement.

I watched all five episodes on youtube with subtitles and it was
fun.

Let's put it this way. As for how it ends, the final episode
shovels on the foreshadowing with a backhoe before it actually
happens. You can see what's going to happen from miles away.
That's not saying it's not good, I thought it actually did
everything very well. Look up the female lead on IMDb and
Wikipedia, she's had and is still having a very successful career
and the male lead is still working regularly too. Which isn't the
case for every young actor you see in something.

Does anyone have access to the full series of Houkago 1992. My
usual link of DoramaTV deleted the entire series. The Nyaa link is
no longer functional. I have seen episode one reuploaded to youtube
but I would be curious to re-watch episode 2 through 5 as well.
