It’s a question I have thought about for a while. There are tons of
movies I love but I wish it was in English, my native language.
Born to be Human would be a great remake in English. The French
movie Si J’etais Elle would be another one that would be great.
Plus there are two movies where females grow penises one in French
and the other is Swedish that I think would be great in English.
What movies or shows am I missing?

I don’t know what I would change about the movie. Maybe the ending
but maybe not. It’s a good movie. It’s a movie to really think
about what the ending meant to you.

to a Kiss', 'Heaven & Hell' from the top of my head. But my first
pick will be 'Papa to Musume to Nanokakan'.

Just maybe, Tenkōsei: Sayonara anata, except they remain stuck and
it's the new Kazuo who passes away instead, leaving the new Kazumi
to reflect on his new life as a girl, maybe have the entire movie
be a flashback from an older Kazumi who's now happily married with
kids, and very much content in her female life.

“Here Comes the Bride” as the group swap element is something
Western media doesn’t explore as often, or maybe “Dame tu Cuerpo”
with more focus on the lives of the male and his best friend’s
fiancée after they have swapped.

Can’t Cry with Your Face (君の顔では泣けない) literally just came out this
year. It’s only in Japanese and no English sups. About a boy and
girl that swap bodies while in high school and have to live each
other’s lives for the next 15 years. Seriously it seems like a
great movie. It’s also beautifully shot but had to read someone who
was able to summarize the whole movie.

Honestly, none, because english is my native language and if it
were to be remade it'd be remade by Americans who are oddly
puritanical about the things that make a gender transformation type
show so appealing, so even if it were an MTf/FTM situation, you'd
end up at most with a PG13 style "Freaky Friday" type movie instead
of anything more HBOworthy.

If I Were A Boy is the French movie but the Swedish movie is
Everything Always All the Time. In that movie she doesn’t actually
grow a penis but rather pays for a doctor to install one. She is
still sexy and beautiful but wants a penis. It’s a good movie.
