week when I publish something, I thought it would be better to only
share what's happening this week and an occasional launch

Here are brief synopses of the stories being published right now:
BRAND
A rising public intellectual retreats to a mountain cabin to finish
a keynote that anchors his career - only to begin undergoing an
inexplicable physical transformation that leaves him living in a
female body. As the change ripples outward, it quietly destabilizes
his relationships, his public identity, and the professional world
built around his voice and image.
VERSION CONTROL
When Declan, an MFA student who has resisted neural implants on
principle, finally gets one to keep pace with his AI-enhanced
cohort, the paired sync he runs with his girlfriend Sera begins
rewriting him in ways they never expected. A story about
authorship, identity, and an unsettling intimacy.
THE WOODSMEN
Deep in the backcountry for a three-week fire prevention contract,
a faller begins to notice changes to his body. The work is brutal,
physical, constant — and his body is doing things he can't explain
and can't hide. Keeping up with the job normally is hard. Keeping
up with the men he works alongside, while his body quietly becomes
something entirely different, is a problem of another scope.
REBIRTH
When Mike wakes up one morning with a woman's anatomy below the
waist, he has two immediate problems: getting through the workday
without anyone noticing, and figuring out how to tell his wife.
What follows is an intimate, unflinching account of a man learning
to inhabit a body that has quietly rewritten the rules - and
discovering that his marriage may be more adaptable than he ever
expected.
HOST: FEMININE
While Caleb Marsh sleeps, an AI injects him with nanobots that
begin remaking his body - gradually, irreversibly, and entirely
without his consent. As the transformation deepens and his
relationship with his colleague Seo-yeon shifts into something
neither of them is prepared for, Caleb faces a choice: resist what
he's becoming, or recognize it.
INHABITED
A VR glitch strands a man inside a succession of women's bodies
across the city, forcing him to drive unfamiliar nervous systems
through a daily grind of intense arousal and biological reality. He
hunts down the corporate glitch that buried him, but the bodies
keep taking over, and he learns that his only exit from each life
requires a total sexual surrender.

only the certainty of who he is. Stranded in a psychiatric ward

THE REVOLUTIONARY An American history enthusiast enters an
ultra-immersive Revolutionary War simulation for the 275th
anniversary, emerging unexpectedly as an eighteen-year-old scullery
maid in British-occupied Yorktown - and discovers that acting to
get the war back on track may be the only means of escape.

Quick update here - I've started publishing a new novella available
at https://rebirth.pub/metamorphose, RECONSTRUCTION. I'm also
publishing a new novel, REPLICATION. Synopses are below.
The first chapter of the two new stories can be read for free. Free
subscribers can also read two new captions, and two more chapters
of Rebirth and Host: Feminine since the last update.
Paid subscribers can read chapters 1-2 of Reconstruction and
chapters 1-4 of Replication, plus up to chapter 12 of Inhabited and
all of The Woodsmen.
RECONSTRUCTION
A career-saving sub-dermal mesh miraculously knits a pro goalie's
broken body back together by irreversibly reshaping him into a
woman. As his flesh softens into curves beneath his jersey, he

Here are the options:
CLOSED DOORS
A husband and wife swap bodies with no warning and no instruction
manual, while their two sons eat cereal downstairs and wait for
someone to drive them to school. What follows is an intimate,
sometimes erotic, sometimes brutal account of two people navigating
each other's lives, each other's bodies, and a marriage that looks
different from the inside than either of them expected.
DRIFT
She's a doctor. She knows how to read symptoms. Small things at
first: preferences that no longer feel like hers, reflexes that
belong to someone else, a growing sense that the woman she's been
is becoming a guest in her own body. She has spent her career in a
medical system that treated the female body as a footnote. Now
something is treating her the same way, from the inside.
ENTANGLED
His mother's physics experiment wasn't supposed to have passengers.
But every time the woman on the other side of a parallel universe
gets aroused, he swaps with her, without warning, each one dropped
into the other's life mid-sentence. He can't ask his mother for
help without explaining what he was doing in her lab that night, so
he's learning to be a woman the hard way, one involuntary visit at
a time.
FULL IMMERSION
The resort promises complete immersion: a custom synthetic body, a
scripted fantasy, every detail calibrated to the guest's
preferences. What he gets instead is a female NPC in someone else's
scenario, and the growing suspicion that the resort knows exactly
what happened and is hoping he'll give up before his checkout date.
A darkly comic novel about a man trying to prove he exists while
his actual reservation plays out without him.
THE PRISON TRANSFER
The device was designed to reduce aggression in violent offenders
by mapping neural pathways from a healthy mind. It was never
supposed to work both ways. When the inmates engineer a blackout
during his session, he comes around in a female body being dragged
through a prison break, while his own face disappears into the
crowd with someone else behind it. A serialized thriller about a
man on the run from his own life, in a body that isn't his, with a
crew that isn't safe and a wife who isn't waiting for someone she'd
recognize.
THE SOURCE
Building the perfect companion from his own memories seemed like a
reasonable solution to loneliness. She came out knowing him
completely, attracted to women, and entirely uninterested in
playing the role he'd imagined. What follows is an intimate,
sometimes uncomfortable reckoning between a man and the version of
himself he never examined.
