Okay, Toots
Charley Chase, a stockbroker, gets rich by mistake, has parking trouble, then at home finds his wife Toots seeing a psychic who apparently causes husband and wife to switch bodies!
Watch online?

You know, instead of wasting a post by saying something unhelpful like "ew this is a freakin' old movie"

It's an old movie. Okay. Maybe instead of a negative comment you could either be helpful to Nobody00's request or not say anything at all.

It's a 1935 Hal Roach comedy short and it sounds kind of interesting:

"It anticipates FREAKY FRIDAY as Charley and his wife Toots (Jeanie Roberts) swap bodies, each speaking with the other’s voice as Charley gets a lesson not to take all his wife does for granted. It’s a bizarre little film – unlike the previous two shorts, Charley and Jeanie do not outwardly look or dress like the opposite sex, but everyone accepts them as such without question. Chase’s impotent indignation as a group of housewives give him an enforced makeover is a highlight."

That write-up is from this site: https://thelostlaugh.com/tag/okay-toots/. I'm a little confused how it works. The article says they swap bodies and voices, which would seem to suggest that they actors trade roles and they dub their voices, but then the article also says they don't look like the opposite sex. If they have the actress playing the male role, with the male actor's voice dubbed in, this sounds like it could be fun!

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be online. I see a few sites where the video used to be, but it's been scrubbed. I'd be kind of surprised if somebody actually cares enough about the copyright of this very old, obscure film to be sending out takedown notices!

Hal Roach also made the movie based on the book Turnabout with Carole Landis.

Hal Roach would have loved this site.

Wow my comment gets deleted but ColoradoDogs irritating one gets to stay!?!? Okay whatever…

It was because you personally attacked ColoradoDog. If you had worded your comment in a less hostile way toward a specific person it would have stayed up.

Rule 4: "Do not 'attack' other posters. You may attack an individual's comments but not the individual."
