Works fine for me.
It seems nice. Has a bunch of transformations of Genie and Jasmine
from the Aladin series.

I see no mention where the clips was taken from. The logo identify
the clips as my capture/editing/encoding/posting, but no way to
trace it back to the website. And the subject tags are also removed
from the video when posted on you tube (the tags link back to the
site and give information about the show and the episode).
And the person hasn't mentioned the site at all.

Dragoniade, you don't own the rights to Alladin.

So, you're a supporter to art theif Passerby?
You think everyone's effort can be ripped of for your sole
pleasure?
If people want to see THAT clip, they can go to my site, rather
than cash on MY effort.
It's called respect, something you seem to be missing.

Friday to see if I get feedback real from him before doing anything
more.

"So, you're a supporter to art theif Passerby?

Why not? You take a small clip from a show, add a watermark and
claim ownership like you actually had a hand in its production, so
the rules of production are obviously rather lenient to you. You
talk about effort, you watch tv or Tivo it so you can record it and
claim it.

@Passerby
At least, I PAID to have the original content. And guess what, I
never said I made the series or that I work for Disney. I said I
made the clips, which is much different.
And you definitely don't know what you're talking aboug Passerby
about what effort it take to maintain such a site.
@randy
Cashing on someone's else work is not necessarily about money. It
can be money, yes, but it can be any kind of reward: exposure,
fanart, support, pub money from you tube, etc.
@john
Yes, he did now.

Someone who takes the work of someone else and posts it online is
an art thief. That much I can agree with. What I'm wondering is how
that's so different from what you do.
You're cashing in on the effort of someone else, something you had
no hand in producing, yet are claiming art theft when someone takes
it. Having a website in this case is no different than putting it
up on Youtube, it is no different. You made the clips, big deal,
you take the work someone one else did, the months of animation,
the story boarding, the voice acting, the editing, and rip 30
seconds of it and put it on your site.
Now, no one who wants it for that clip is going to buy it if they
can look at your site and get it. I don't see credits beyond the
name of the show and episode, no acknowledgment of those involved
and certainly no information on how to purchase or compensate the
workers behind it.
You can sit there and play the victim and whine "art theft,
leechers" all you want, but there's a reason that people don't buy
it. To bitch and moan that your "art" is being stolen is not only
hypocritical, but an insult to every artist who really has had
their work taken without their consent.
If you had just complained that people should indicate where they
got it from if they repost a tv clip, I'd agree. But to claim art
theft is asinine, someone is posting one clip of something you took
from somewhere else and posted on your site to try to draw in page
views, donations, whatever have you.

Copyright:
Except for video clips, video previews, artworks, comics displays ,
characters and books exerpts all contents are copyrighted to
Dragoniade and in certain extends, Stonegate. All rights reserved.
And yes, I'm complaining because the person never asked permission
to repost the clip nor did he linked back to the site.
As a result, this thread was linking to his clips and not my
original clips.
I called him a thief for the simple reason he clearly agreed, when
he subscribed and downloaded the clips, not to repost them. Which
he didn't.
People wonder why there isn't that much original video archive.
That's because people who start automatically get copied by lazier
people. No wonder the only 2 site, mine and dutchman, don't get
updated often.
The second we do, someone else try to steal the spotlight.
And regarding my 'art' being stolen, those are your words, not
mine. Why to leeches has to distort reality every time they want to
win an argument. I said my clips, not art. I'm not holding full
episode on the site. If yo want to compare apple with apple, my
site would be closer to a thumbnail gallery referencing artworks
done by an artists.
As far as I know, posting thumbnail is not considered art thievery,
while posting the full art is. In my case, I took a sample of the
original content, and posted it. In his case, he took the whole
thing and posted it. He didn't sampled my sample, he copied it
fully.
If this thread had had both links to begin with, I wouldn't have
made much of a fuse. But considering there's quite few clips on his
you tube account (I'm not referring to this single link posted
here), it's a matter for me to make a fuse.

I aggree with Dragoniade. I post original clips from time to time
upon request and it requires quite a bit of work to firstly find
the content which can take months if at all. Then convert it into a
form that can be edited. Then lastly the time it takes to edit,
export and upload the clip. In addition having to check the clips
lengnth and content so that it falls under fair use.
If it were not for people like Dragoniade giving up their time,
that could be spent elsewhere, we would only have a fraction of the
content available we have now.
I'm sorry but if you've ever given up a sunny afternoon to sit in
front of a computer screen just so someone else can enjoy the fruit
of your work you would understand.
