Description
The US military explodes an experimental "It Bomb" on Termiti
Island -- uninhabited, except for 17 billion Turnip Termites. The
It Bomb is the most unpredictable weapon ever invented; it is
loaded with radioactive vitamins. The turnip termites grow to
enormous size, and fly throughout the globe looking for turnips.
The storyline originally began running on April 3, 1948, and
syndication began reprinting it on March 15, 2010.
