Description
In one story about a boy named Yuu and his magical pet raccoon dog
named Pokonyan a "freaky Friday" situation comes about when Yuu
complains he'd like to switch places with his overly critical
mother. In a puff of smoke Yuu is transformed into his mother and
she into him. Yuu quickly convinces her that she is in fact him and
should go back to doing his homework. Unfortunately, the new
boy-as-mother is constantly reminded of the chores s/he has to do
and while his mother becomes popular with the other kids playing
baseball, Yuu fares poorly in the domestic department. Pokonyan
has, along with other Fujiko F. Fujio creations, been turned into
an animated series, though at a mere 170 episodes clearly not in
the same league as Doraemon (over a thousand and counting).
