Description
In this animated video, aliens place pods on the back of people's
necks, slowly turning them into trees. The video primarily focuses
on one man, who gets "podded" in his sleep, sees the alien, and
jumps out his bedroom window. He lands in the bushes and emerges
with leaves in his hair. We later discover that they are actually
growing out of him. He has trouble walking becasue his feet are
constantly trying to take root. Eventually, they do just that, and
he has to watch in horror as the aliens send a tidal wave to
destroy a nearby city and attach a pod to a small child. (His son?
I'm not sure.)
By the end of the video, all of the houses and skyscrapers have
been replaced by forests, and our protagonist is now completely
transformed into a tree. (Even his hands have become roots.) It is
also revealed that the aliens grow like fruit from the
humans-turned-trees.
