Description
A retelling of the ancient greek tale of Tiresias. In this
hardbound two volume illustrated novel the tale revolves around a
greek officer whose arrogance and womanizing ways leads him to make
the fatal mistake of raping a priestess of Athena. Athena's
vengence is swift and her punishment is the transformation of
Tiresias into a woman by way of the bite of two snakes.
The graphic novel follows the process by which she trys to reverse
the curse and finally learns to accept her new life.
An above average storyline and illustrations made this an enjoyable
read (for its class).
