Description
Bill, a British grade school boy, wakes up one morning to discover
he is a girl. Everyone (including his mother and father) treats him
as if he is, and always was, a girl. His mother gives him a pretty
new pink frock to wear to school that day. The conflicts occur as
Bill tries to do the things he enjoyed doing as a boy, and learns
that girls just don't do those things.
This story has also been made into a stage play and a 30-minute BBC
film.
