Description
This children's classic is about a troll who refuses to be evil.
All trolls live on another planet and have the power to turn things
to stone by touching it with their thumb. This troll however has a
green thumb and can make plants grow by touching anything. So as a
punishment they send him to "a place made entirly out of stone" New
York City. While there he meets and makes friends with a little boy
and his toddler sister.
The evil troll queen finds out about all of this and plans on
putting a stop to this so she goes to Earth. While she is there she
gets the little boy by turning him into a troll (giving him a tail,
a pig snout, warts, and pointed ears)
There is also a few inanimate transformations where things are
turned to stone.
