The Shaggy Dog (2006)

Disney is remaking The Shaggy Dog . . . . . again. This time with Tim Allen and Robert Downey.

with two (official) links... this would be confirmed wouldn't it?

ALSO - should be 2006, not 2005.

:-)

In case you don't know, The Shaggy Dog is movie in which the main character, whose name escapes me for the moment, unwittingly uses a magic amulet/talisman to gain the love of the beautiful girl next door. Instead of her falling in love with him, he begins to repeatedly turn into her favorite being in the entire world, her beloved sheepdog. He remains in this constant state of transformation (usually happening at the most opportune times) for the rest of the movie.
There have been several remakes of the movie and an even greater amount of spinoffs/sequels, which show what happened after the events of the movie, usually focusing around the transformations relapsing and occuring again. This movie features the character as the father of a kid, so this is probably of spinoff/sequel.
Tim Allen is the actor playing the dad who repeatedly transforms into the dog.

If that's the best work that Tim Allen can get these days, maybe it's time for a new career (and this coming from a huge Home Improvement fan)

I highly suggest NOT to go see this movie
make it bomb like Uwe Boll's "Bloodrayne" movie
