Ze crude plot:
The kid likes a girl (the one the genie shows just before the possession) and wants to find out what she likes so he can impress her, but can't get around another boy she hangs out with, so the genie offers to make him possess her best friend.

Ze bonus: Following scene, he humiliates his arch rival who tries hitting on him (her?)

Found a MtF and MtM transformation in episode 12 35:57.

And @guest(jone) there was a sort of animal transformation in episode 23 and I think there was another in an earlier episode if I'm not crazy. Sorry I couldn't anymore specific
