Just curious what age everyone would prefer to be for a body swap
or transformation or etc.
Doesn't have to be a permanent start as well but could.
Personally I'd go for middle age, around 35 and a woman , bonus
points if she is a mom
Other choice would be a care free 6 year old girl.

I would swap bodies with a woman around
my age 40 to 47 or a girl in her early 20's

I'm not sure that I could lock into a particular age.
I find that I'm often drawn to AR stories as I feel that the best
way for a man to learn how to be a girl/woman / what it's like to
be a girl/woman is for him to experience it like every other
girl/woman... grow into it.
However, this aspect is the one I'm most torn with - I'm not sure
I'd have the patience to go through some childhood and/or puberty
again. If I could remember the experience without living it, that
might be enough for me, even if I had to have my mind altered so
that that remembered "experience" will have shaped who I become.
For me, there are times I'd love to be as carefree and energetic as
a kindergartner or elementary-schooler... or to feel "my" body
begin to mature from a girl into a woman... to get used to the
stares and leers of the boys and men... to develop my own sense of
style... and rarely, even what it would be like to be a toddler or
infant. All of these being temporary experiences, of course. (the
younger I'm regressed to, the shorter the stay).
But overall, after some fun experiencing life in those various,
very young forms, I would love to settle-in on maybe a college-age
to mid-twenties young woman, and take life day-by-day from there
for an extended period of time.

No swaps for me. My body's in poor health and I wouldn't wish it on
anyone.
As young as 5 or 6 if I ended up very intelligent and retained most
of my current knowledge. I've long wished I'd been a proper child
prodigy rather than just a bright, well-read kid.

At least you weren't "stupid and unremarkable in every single way,"
like me. And my body is starting to deteriorate as well, so I
empathize. I'm only in my twenties. I work a pretty much dead end
job where all of my efforts are unappreciated and unrecognized, I'm
a coward who only sticks up for himself if I'm enraged, I dropped
out of college, I'm pretty much undesirable by the opposite sex
(particularly anyone I'm attracted to or could get serious feelings
for). Everyone picks up on my weakness no matter how hard I try to
hide it or live behind my lies and takes their anger out on me. I'm
one of those rare adult males who still gets bullied by random
strangers.
If I could start again I definitely would, but I too would rather
be a prodigy. And I'd rather not have the condition I have. And
maybe my life would be better if I was a girl instead, and I'm not
just saying that because it's my fetish either. I've given some
real thought to it.
But for now, all dreaming aside, I'd have to say I'd most desire to
be someone in her early twenties to mid thirties. I'd be content
with that.

One time transformation please and I would want to be a 10 year old
girl. Not too young and gives me a bit of time before puberty
starts just to enjoy being a kid.

If I was a girl I'd like to be between the ages of 8-11 or as a
mother in her late 30s up to early 50s.

Yes, if it was a one way trip I'd choose a girl's body of around
10. You then have the time to grow into being a woman, your body
gradually changing over time. You have the time to learn make-up,
women's fashions, just as any girl would growing up. More time to
discover who the new you is or will be. You wouldn't be playing
catch up like you would if you'd be straight away changed into an
adult woman.

If a swap, we'd settle for the same age, I think, so nobody will
lose years. If a transfo, I'd think about a 16-18 year-old girl,
but those who write about becoming a 10-year-old little girl had
good arguments.
