lol, I cleared out a bunch before I started getting rejected for
using too much of this sites bandwidth :)
Someone else will have to pickup from where I left off.
wtb a "Reject all from this user" button...

Same thing happened to me, kicked out for using bandwidth.

Okay, they're all done. I accidentally approved one change for the
'author' category, so I had to rewrite that entry. Someone check
that to make sure it's up to snuff.

DB Cooper - Rather than review your corrective changes... I used
the View History
for the entry, then rolled the entry back to the last known good
one. So it's rolled-back to its "before" state now. :-)
I really, really want to get some IP addy info and a passport, then
stop at a hardware store on the way to pay that user a visit... but
then I sometimes seem to suffer from some anger management issues.
:-P

Thanks, CJ. I couldn't figure out how to do that.

It would do you no good. An IP address is like a return address on
a piece of snail mail, you can basically write anything you want
there and it has no bearing on the actual origination address.
I started writing a script to remove these addresses based on the
posters name but the site limitations on bandwidth prevent that
from being effective (I'd have to change my address multiple
times).
The event is rare enough that I think we can just handle it
manually when it happens. Fortunately it rarely affects the public
facing portion of the site. It would be nice to have a tool on the
approval page to reject all submissions from a specific user name
though but that could be abused by a rogue admin :)

@DB Cooper - Hey there, if I may ask you this, What exactly do you
mean by that?
Are referring to the "Monyet Cantik 2" that I submitted about a
week ago?
Cause when I looked at it being submitted, it said that it was
originally submitted by you instead of me, no?
I mean not that it really matters who submits it, I was just asking
because I'm a little curious.

From: juupton

Yes, I did submit it twice, but that's because I accidently
submitted it without finishing it. So I resubmitted it again to fix
what I have not finished.
I just made two submissions of the same thing by accident
I just thought that let you and the others know about it just in
case.
@CJ - Sorry about that, CJ.

Thank you for submitting it by the way. ;)
P.S. - If I sounded kind of rude or snippy because of the way how I
worded my statements, then I apologize. It really was not my
intention to be rude or sound rude.

Juupton: no, I meant I accidentally clicked 'approve' instead of
'reject,' on a vandal edit, which replaced the actual entry and I
had to rewrite it from memory.
I don't know why it is saying the Monkey entry is from me (I caught
the double submission). Perhaps it's because I was the one to
officially approve it, or because I made some slight grammar fixes
after. It's certainly your entry, and you weren't being rude at
all.

Ahhh. I see. Very well then.
Thank you. ;)

"... when I looked at it being submitted, it said that it was

Interesting. The History
for that entry does, in fact, give credit to you, juupton, for
originally submitting it... but for some reason, the entry itself
is indicating DB as the original submission source, probably since
his is the most recent edit (???) - probably a glitch. Hopefully
our Glorious Leader will see this and check it out.

@CJ - Mhmm. Indeed.
And Thank you btw.
