I know the authors of the great story "Body Switched", Caleb Jones
and Eric, have indicated that they have no plans to write a "Body
Switched Book 3" or any sort of sequel, but I was curious if they
would at least be willing to write a short epilogue to the story,
just telling about what happens to Jason and Jennifer over the
years in say 5 years... 10 years down the road. Do they switch
back, or permanently stay as each other, does Jennifer get married
to Richie, and what about Jason? I've been dying to know this for
years, and I would greatly appreciate it if the authors would do
their fans this big favor. Does anyone here ever talk to Caleb
Jones or Eric? If so can you please ask them this question for me,
and try and persuade them to write this epilogue please! Thanks!

Many thanks for high praise! we've bee asked this a few times. I
will talk to Caleb and see he's agree to dosomehtinglike this that
we will agree on.
One thing for sure I can tell you. Jason &Jennifer do NOT
switch back. They both like being each other too much and think the
grass is indeed greener.

I still want a sequel, but in my conception of it, the inventor
always sort of wanted to be his (tragically dead) wife (it's part
of why he invented a body-swap machine, to trade bodies with her),
and is overjoyed at being the Japanese-American woman schoolteacher
-- but apparently that is NOT consistent with the authors' take on
the character at all.
I'd like to see any sequel or epilogue the authors care to write,
though.

I actually was never really interested in the dad... I found the
story of his kids Jason and Jennifer and their swapping of bodies
the most compelling and interesting. And I really want to know what
they end up doing with their lives. Hopefully the writers of this
fabulous story will agree to give some sort of closure on Jason and
Jennifer's lives. =)

I've always wondered if Richie found out that Jennifer used to be
her younger brother Jason, if he would still want to be with her
and desire to marry her, or if he would think she was a freak and
dump her... the same goes for Kathy... I wonder if she would still
want to be Jason's girlfriend if she knew he used to be his older
sister Jennifer. What would you say Eric/ Caleb Jones? Would Kathy
and Richie still want to be with the body swapped siblings? It
would also be cool to know if hypothetically Tommy, Allison or
Jason or Jennifer's father discovered that Jason and Jennifer had
decided to permanently become the other forever. If you guys write
an epilogue, can you include that hypothetical scenario or can you
just post what would happen in that situation... hypothetically. I
love your story guys! Well done gentlemen!

I'm also interested to see where all the characters are now. I
think an epilogue is a great idea! Much easier than a full on story
but still wraps things up nicely. Hope you guys decide to give it a
go!

I also think an epilogue is a fabulous idea! Out of curiosity, one
thing I didn't find quite clear in the story, is when the 18 year
old new Jennifer slept with Richie, I know that was the first time
for the new Jennifer, but was it also the first time for Jennifer's
body, or had the previous Jennifer already slept around, and lost
her body's virginity? It would also be interesting to see years
later, Jason losing his virginity to a girl or a boy... in one part
of the story it almost sounded as if Jason might be bisexual since
he "sighed seeing Richie and the new Jennifer kissing, thinking
about how you could lose yourself in his arms." It just made me
wonder if the new Jason is bisexual... it would be cool to read
about him experimenting with women/men down the road. Anyway I hope
you guys decide to do this epilogue idea!

Hey Eric, Has there be any word from Caleb on the possibility of an
epilogue to "Body Switched", the greatest m/f body swap story ever?
I really want to know what ends up happening to the new Jason and
Jennifer over their lifetimes. I've always been curious if there is
such a thing as an afterlife, if Jennifer would still be Jennifer
and Jason would still be Jason or if their spirits would revert
back to their former selves... hmm.

eric and i bounced around a few ideas and we have put a short
'where are they now' epilogue on our to do list. It will take some
time to get to it but we'll let you know when it it ready.

I always wanted to read about Jennifer's days in college. Like it
would be awesome to read about her experience trying to join a
sorority or something to that effect. Anyway it will be fun to see
a 'where are they now' piece written.

I would have liked to have seen a sequel to "Body Switched" where
the new inventor comes up with an even greater invention... time
travel. Jason and Jennifer once again accidentally unwittingly
engage the experiment sending them both back in time to before they
ever switched bodies with each other and decided to permanently
become one another. The old Jason and Jennifer are shocked and
disgusted to learn that they end up forever being one another and
try and convince their new selves to swap back, while their new
selves try and convince them of how much better life is living as
their sibling... when neither of the new or old Jennifers or Jasons
can convince their future or past selves that life the way they are
now is better, the old Jennifer and Jason team up, making a truce
to try and do everything in their power to stop the swap from
happening so that they will remain as their past selves, and their
future selves will never have existed, forever altering their
lives.... while the new Jennifer and Jason team up to try and force
their former selves into the machines to swap their bodies so that
they will realize that they like being each other more than the
selves they were born as, and so that the new Jennifer and Jason
will ccome to exist as they now are.... so a battle ensues between
the old Jason and Jennifer and the new Jason and Jennifer to each
try and stay as they way they are... the old Jason and Jennifer
plotting to destroy the machine so the swap can never happen, and
the new Jason and Jenifer trying to protect the machine while
plotting of ways to get their former selves and bodies into the
machine... ideally in this fantasy the new Jason and Jennifer win,
and they forever become on another in the past like they had done
before. I just think that would be the ultimate conclusion/sequel
to this story, the new inventor makes another masterpiece and
antics between the brother and sister ensue from that device.
Unfortunately I doubt this will ever happen, but I just wanted to
share my idea with all of the "Body Switched" Story fans out there
as well as its two authors, even though my idea will never come to
fruition. I am excited to see this epilogue being spoken of though.
Keep us updated gentlemen.

very interesting idea.
I'm not sure why they would have to convince their earlier selves
to switch if they already did so and were still switched in the
future.
but I like the idea of a new invention. If it's in the epilogue,
you'll know where the inspiration came from ;)
PS I have a few stories to work on before the epilogue. It could be
in a few months or some time next year, dependant on what stories
demand my attention more. Plus I am rather busy in real life for
now so nobody hold their breath waiting!

Well time travel is always a quirky fictional attribute, but I was
thinking by just their going back in time it would have altered the
time line, because Jason and Jennifer would then avoid the machine
once they figured out that they will swap bodies and their new
selves like being their new selves... which from reading about the
old Jason and Jennifer, they would not much like the idea of being
one another, and thus would do any and everything in their power to
stop said event from taking place... at least not until they
actually experience what it is like to be one another, so this
would create an alternate time line in which the new Jason and
Jennifer first have to try and convince them to switch, and after
that fails, fight to trick them into switching so that they then
will come to know and realize what the new Jason and Jennifer have
and love as their new selves... just a little fantasy I had
involving this story in my head, but I'm glad you like the idea of
a new invention Caleb. I must admit, I am rather tempted to hold my
breath on this one, haha I'm only kidding. But seriously keep us
updated. =)

Imagine how interesting the dialogue would be in a time travel
scenario between the new Jason and Jennifer of the present and the
former Jason and Jennifer of the past. Imagine the new Jason and
Jennifer talking to their old selves and what kind of conversations
would take place. Just imagine the expression on the old Jason's
face when his new self, the new Jennifer, tells him of their
engagement to Richie. I can just see the old Jason's mouth hitting
the floor and then be outraged that he would ever end up with a
man, or the old Jennifer's shock that she will end up with a girl
named Cathy instead of the hunk Richie her new sister of the future
will end up with. Imaging the dialogues and the fights that would
take place between the new set of siblings and the old set of
siblings would be quite intriguing.
