I've turned into tons of people over the years i've been lucid
dreaming. There's a few of them on my blog but that's a fraction of
all the dreams. It's unlike anything else.

I lucid dream from time to time. I remember one lucid dream I had
recently where I started in a clothing store. I decided to switch
bodies with a female mannequin, so I pulled this pendant out of my
pocket. I placed the pendant around a mannequin's neck and lost all
feeling in my body. I spent the rest of the dream immobile and
unable to move an inch. The funny part was that when I woke up, I
had sleep paralysis and was in a half-daze so I believed I had
turned into a mannequin in real-life! Then I gave my head a good
shake and snapped back to reality. :D

Do you know how to get lucid in a dream in the first place?

I know a bit, some it includes not moving your body at all and
focusing on dreaming.

Practice and habit, essentially. Start writing down your dreams
every morning and every night before you go to bed repeat to
yourself over and over about how'll you have a lucid dream that
night. Eventually it'll work, and once you have had one the rest
will come easier.

Wait, right down the same dream twice each day?

@Madaba
No, sorry. Write down your dreams in the morning, and then when you
go to bed at night tell yourself that you'll have a lucid dream.
You only have to write down your dreams once, and that's right when
you wake up.

I have never done it... I would love to though! Being a man for a
day and make love to a woman would be amazing.
I thing a way that may work (im going to try tonight) is standing
in front of a mirror, and start changing your body in the mirror.
Then perhaps walk through the mirror. I dont know... Try it.

As someone who has lucid dreams every night I'd just like to say
that much of the above posts are nuts (no offence). Meditation is
the only way, learn to control your mind and you will be able to
control and enjoy your dreams as much as your days awake.
It doesn't cost anything just practice, I'm sure there are people
who cannot visualise a universe within their minds, but if you can
imagine then you can have lucid dreams, but more importantly you
can manage stress and anxiety, give up smoking or alcohol, become
better at sports and endless other NLP style controlling of your
own minds.
(Thanks neuro linguistic programming)
Just start small, tense and relax each muscle in your body, feel
all the parts of your body, clothes, bed, chair, breathing, warmth,
cold... listen to and then ignore external sounds, then focus on
those made by your body. When that is done then make new sounds in
your mind, crashing waves, chirping birds. Feel new feelings, the
sand in your toes, the cold sea water as you paddle in the sea, a
cool sea breeze, the warmth of the sun, sit on a cold stone and
feel the stone against your skin. Combine all the feelings, the
sounds the motion of your body as you walk along the shoreline.
Then return either to sleep or to go off fighting pirates or
building a snow man. Do this awake and eventually you will find
yourself doing it asleep, in a state where you awake in a dream,
where your subconscious creates a world and you feel and see and
taste and hear what your mind wants, then you can control it.
It's not easy to apply it to dreams, but it is for meditation, just
start small.
