I have been dying to see this movie since I first heard about it.
Does anyone know when Mako is planning to release it? and does
anyone have any news about the gender twist in the story?

I have not seen the movie but I have done some research online -
found some concept art and gone frame by frame through the trailer
- and I think I have a theory on what is going on.

They just had a recent screening and it will be shown at the Cannes
Festival in France. It had been picked up by a major distributer
already and hopefully we will all see it by early fall/winter.

I also heard the transformation from man to woman is REMARKABLE
very much like the An American Werewolf in London transformation.

Okay, this theory is based upon concept art found here. There are

Here's what I think - in very broad terms - happens. In the future, the worlds most precious resource will be fresh
water. A ship is sent to the moon of Europa to mine for water but
in the mean time a global conflict over who will control this
resource leads to an all out nuclear war. There are 4 crew members
and an A.I. on the ship and they successfully accomplish their
mission and return home. The ship runs into trouble with some
asteroids and they must choose between saving the ship or dumping
the cargo. O'Byrne, the crew member with glasses, dumps to cargo
but not before the ship takes damage and the only female crew
member is killed. Either the loss of the water ignites a global
conflict into all out nuclear war or its just a coincide . . .
there is an all out nuclear war killing everybody on Earth. With
the last of humanity 3 men on a spaceship "life finds a way" to
keep the human race going. One of the characters spontaneously
becomes female. Think Jurassic Park. O'Bryne is a religious nut and
he takes it as a sign from God. He's attracted to "Alice" but she's
not comfortable being a woman and definitely not attracted to him.
Slowly, Captain Grey and Alice develop a romance and even have sex.
O'Bryne is jealous. He rigs some explosive necklaces and forces
them onto his crew members. He rapes Alice or she allows him to
have sex with her so she can get the remote control for the collar.
Alice turns the tables on O'Bryne and kills him. In the end she is
pregnant with either Captain Grey or O'Bryne's baby. Now, I'm
pretty sure there is a second transformation. I have no idea why
except maybe it wasn't God but it was the A.I. who manipulated the
gender change. In the trailer there is an older brunette woman who
turns her head around. She is listed in IMDB as Alice Grey. Now we
know that the transformed crew members are called Alice and Grey
was the name of the captain. However, there is a strange dream
sequence that features the two Greys so maybe that's his wife? I
have no idea what this could mean. If you watch the trailer @ 1:35
you can see creepy O'Bryan in the doorway behind Alice. In his hand
there is a red blinking light. I think that's the collar. @1:54 you
can see Alice wearing the collar. There is a repeated image in the
trailer of a dark figure at a work bench and one of the Mako vlogs
had a short clip of O'Bryan welding something. There are many unanswered questions that I can't wait to see
answered in the film.

Not a bad description but there are some parts that are not right.
It was a good attempt but you really need to see the movie. :)
There is definatly some signature Mako twists....

Very close but no cigar more to the story then you think the AI
actually plays a bigger role.

There is a animated movie Mako did a long time ago which gives a
lot of clues as to what to expect in this movie ;) I believe he
might have it still on his YouTube channel so watch it and you will
have a better understand of the movie

Yeah, it's just a loose theory. I'm sure I'm missing a lot. I
really can't wait to see it but I'm looking forward to how Cannes
and possible distribution will play out. : )

Good theory. Geez, I hope we don't have to wait 2 more years to see
this. That blond girl is so cute and imagine her being the girl the
guy turns into. It looks so awesome judging from the trailer. I
want to see it so bad right now.

Wow... you really did your homework 'guest2'. There are some things
you mentioned that are pretty close and others that are not. Always
fun to see what people might think your story is about. Kinda like
how I keep trying to figure out which way PROMETHEUS is gonna go :)
heyta1 - I don't think it's gonna be 2 years. At least I really do
hope not. I want this sucker out as some of you do.

Yeah, I bet that is what is going on. Something happens to humanity
and the human race gets killed off. Somehow that one guy is turned
into the blond girl(Not sure how yet). The religious guy feels like
it is his mission from God to continue the human race so he rapes
her/him and impregnates her. I believe there will be some mental
changes going on to since it is mako.

Oh YEAH!!! and is there anyway to view your movie "Eleven"? That is
the only one of your films I do not own and have not seen. Been
dying to view it.

We still sell our past movies,including eleven, just email
makopictures@yahoo.com and Corey our dvd sales guy will get back to
you when he can.
Paradox Alice is different from all of our other movies, but we do
include elements that reference other movies we did. Some big and
some small and everything leads up to some shocking moments.
After the sceening it was amazing to hear my friends and coworkers
comment on the movie. Each were uncomfortable with difernt aspects
of the movie, yet they were drawn in and wanted to see more. So
much that they want a sequal....
I am really hoping we hear some good news from our distributor
after Cannes. We really want you all to see it as soon as possible.
We really hope it will be a huge hit for us.
