Van Helsing
Furry, Were
In this homage and tribute to the original Universal Movie Monsters, we see Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) as a monster hunter, working for the Vatican. This has been placed in the "furry" category, although the winged harpy-like vampire brides have no fur. Maybe the "animal" section would be more appropriate? Anyway, I'll post the pictures and you can decide for yourself.

Furry is a slang term for a mix of human and animal. The animal category would only apply if they turned completely into an animals.

I thought the term for a mix of human and animal was "anthro" (as in (anthropamorphism) and that a "furry" was someone who enjoys the idea of being an "anthro" and even likes to wear "furry" costumes and attend "furry" conventions not to mention often posessing "plushies" and other tokens which may or may not involve "yiffing" :)

Ok, so I confess I watched "Fur and Loathing in Las Vegas" on CSI last night :)

I'd just like to make a correction here, Dracula's brides don't turn into winged harpies as you put them but into bat-creatures.

Thanks, that was well worth waiting six and a half years for ...

Don't be so hard on me, i'm not new here - in fact i'm a regular member of this site. Harpies are half-woman half bird in case you don't know.

It's simply being pointed out that bumping a message thread that is well over 6 years old to argue semantics probably isn't the best idea. Same with posting on a thread that is over 11 years old just to say, "oh yeah, I remember that." I mean, there's nothing wrong with that per se, it's just my understanding that bumping posts that are over a couple years old is a generally frowned upon practice.
