Hate stuff like that. Guys wakes up as a woman then ignores 25+
years of his life style and turns gay all of a sudden. If I turn
into a woman I would be a lesbian, Not gonna go out with guys.

The key is hormones. There was this story I saw on youtube of a guy
who was heterosexual with a wife and a kid. Then one day he got
stung by a bee and his hormones went haywire and then he started to
be attracted to guys and ended up getting a sex change.
Anyways, if you want a movie of a guy who becomes a woman and keeps
acting like a guy for the rest of the story, then watch Switch.
This type of movie has been done before. It's basically a 2 hour
movie about one gag and no character development. It's boring. I
think it's far more interesting to have the character go through a
mental transition period. And I think Natalie Knepp is a fine
choice.
I'm pumped about this movie and can't wait. I'm also curious to
know where the Saint finds these information plums.

Here's my secret:

All of them except for Mrs. Goldfarb feature little scenes
throughout the film. There's all sorts of great TG tidbits and it
was worth the money after 4 years of knowing nothing.
The Samantha pages one has the most pages and biggest spoiler
because it features Sam right after she transformed, and then it
jumps to the end of the movie where you really see how much she's
adapted.
The Stephen pages are short but theres some nice social
examination. This is the football scene.
The Margaret pages has some nice bits. One line of dialogue hints
at an eventual makeover and features Sam looking for her earring
and bounding with another woman. It also has a nice bit of stage
direction that gets me excited--->
Samantha walks happily down the street, cell phone to her ear."
Samantha (excited) Doc! I have to tell you what happened today,
you're not gonna ---
I love the idea that this movie starts off like SWITCH but instead
of constantly being negative has the protagonist happily walking
down the street 3/4 of the way through the movie. I love that it
features a positive scene of two women relating and that Doc knows
about Sam's transformation.

bonding (not bounding) with another woman. I never realized how
negative and mean spirited Switch was. Sam is downright sweet.

The only thing I hope is that when the guy turns girl. Well that he
does not all of a sudden he knows how to dress, wear high heels and
put on makeup. If your a straight guy who somehow gets turned into
a girl. Well you should have trouble with the above tasks.

That's the impression that I got from the "sides" Tuggy. At one
point other characters make mention that Sam doesn't know how to
dress.
"That girl needs a makeover. She won't make a good impression on my
partners looking like that." // I'll speak to her. // Well, make
sure she does something about her appearance.

I am now even more intrigued about this movie coming out. I just
hope it does not take till 2015 before they start working on it.

Has it been confirmed that Natalie Knepp is the actress? I just got
to wondering why the actor who plays doc said recently he was cast
but haven't heard anything from Natalie.

2 things:
That website has a Samantha audition but no Doc. It's possible
Natalie isn't locked.
However- the Mrs. Goldman has an interesting rewrite. The Goldman
audition pages are straight from the Samantha pages but updated. In
the Samantha script Mrs Goldman says "it's always the blondes" but
in the Goldman script there is Yiddish substitute line meaning
"what a mouthy girl". I imagine this reflects the possibility of a
brunette actress. Whether its Natalie or not its hard to say. My
impression is that they need an actress who can be intense (like a
guy) but also play adorable. The Samantha script mentions she is "a
picture of loveliness" or something. I could see Natalie playing
that.

Thanks, The Saint for posting the updates. I thought this movie was
done. I guess the updates mean it has a far higher chance to be
made now? And I agree with you completely about the direction the
script seems to be taking. The Switch approach was a huge one-joke
downer, with Amanda dying at the end. Very depressing, despite
Ellen Barkin being at the height of her career and attractiveness.
I think that, given the premise -- the main TG character now having
a 100% normal genetic female body, with normal female hormones and
a genetically female brain, its ridiculous to expect the character
to remain the same. I hope they stick to the positive direction.

The role of Margaret has been recast by the gorgeous Lucille Sharp.
Looks like she got her start with Downton Abbey. Margaret is
bright-eyed girl who has a crush on Sam and then becomes Samantha's
work colleague and friend.

sense. It's gonna be 2014.

Why all the hate for Ellen Barkin and Switch? Do you not realize
that the movie was directed by Blake Edwards? He directed The Pink
Panther movies. Those movies were goofy slap stick movies. I
thought Ellen Barkin did a great as a manwhore transformed into a
sexy blonde woman. I think it will be interesting to see how Sam
turns out and to see how the movie fares with the critics and
public. I'm probably thinking that if the movie does come out that
it will be straight to DVD.
