Girls cartoon "Nano of the North"
Description
This animated video is a retelling of the Powerpuff Girls episode
"Nano of the North" (also on this board under Television Size
Transformations). In the same style as the cartoon - in fact some
of the exact same scenes appear to have been used - a strange rain
appears to dissolve Townsville. The Powerpuff Girls are transfixed
to their TV set, watching a Sugababes video. Professor Utonium
apparently retrieves the Sugababes (an all-girl trio, very
convenient) directly from the TV screen. He infuses the girls with
Chemical X (which makes their clothes like Powerpuff outfits) and
shrinks them to microscopic size. At this point the Sugababes take
over the roles the Girls had in the cartoon, fighting the Nanobots
at their own level. As of mid November 2002 this video was not
playing on American video channels, but the video can be seen or
downloaded from the Sugababes' website.
