A man suspected to be a Nazi war criminal is tricked into believing he's been cursed and living the life of a Jew in a concentration camp. After trying to escape, he's thrown into the shower, where he belies he's being gassed, until it's revealed he was brought to the camp deliberately by one of his alleged victim s abd that this man and his people have acted out a charade. It is only now that the man is revealed to have been the camp 's medical officer, a man who hadvgone out of his way to helg the prisoner s and was tortured for his trouble, spending six months in an asylum in Prague.
