Discord, the Season Two Antagonist, has transported various characters from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic cast to Earth as Humans during the Season 5 Season Finale. For 25 years, the humans who were once ponies have lived under the impression that they were always humans. Until the fateful day when 8 friends discover something special on their birthdays.
On May 1, 2020, several 25 year olds including Evan Smith and his brother, Jack, end up being transformed into Big MacIntosh and Applejack, respectively. Their friends end up as Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight Sparkle, as well as Shining Armor. The humans discover the Cutie Marks of the pony they will become have appeared on their thighs.
Meanwhile, two cousins and two best friends end up becoming the Cutie Mark Crusaders (Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Babs Seed).
Eventually, other humans wake up to discover they are slowly becoming Unicorn, Earth Ponies, and Pegasi from the hit children's television show.
